The bill number 8080 concerning the budget for government revenue and expenses for the fiscal year 2023, proposed to the House of Representatives, includes a permanent reduction in the value-added tax (VAT) rate for the following categories:

• 8% (7% until December 31, 2023): Annex A, points 7 and 10, including repair of household appliances, shoes and leather goods, clothing, and home linens (including alteration and modification services). Bicycles, including electric bicycles, and their rental and repair services.
• 3%: Annex B, point 23, including the delivery and installation of solar panels on private homes, public buildings, and other buildings used for public interest activities and in immediate proximity to these buildings.
